Contact us to discuss concerns and determine whether a full evaluation is recommended.
We assess areas of need using standardized tools to guide therapy goals and expectations.
Therapy begins once goals are established and the evaluation results are reviewed.
At Speech Therapy PR, we support children and adults who are experiencing difficulties with communication. Our goal is to understand each client's needs in order to provide therapy that is current, individualized and high-quality.
We work with concerns related to speech sounds, language development, social communication, fluency, cognitive-communication skills, and swallowing difficulties (mild dysphagia). Therapy is tailored to each person and focused on improving communication and functional skills in real-life situations.
If you notice your child is having difficulty focusing in class, retaining information, staying organized, managing frustration, participating in social interactions, or handling the demands of schoolwork, it may be time to seek targeted support.
At Speech Therapy PR, we offer specialized educational therapy and academic support services designed to address a wide range of learning challenges. Specialist Rosanna De Castro, MS, CCC-SLP, trained and certified by the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico, works closely with students to improve essential skills such as reading comprehension, problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management.

We are a private pay practice, however, we do accept Tricare insurance. If your medical insurance covers speech and language services, we are happy to provide you with an itemized receipt for insurance reimbursement. We accept all major credit cards.
The duration of therapy can vary significantly from one patient to another. Our goal is always to provide targeted, effective therapy that addresses the patient's specific needs. We regularly assess progress and provide feedback to ensure we're on the right track.
It's never too early to seek advice from a speech-language pathologist. Children can start speech therapy at a very young age, even as infants. Early intervention is crucial because the first 3 years of a child's life is a critical period for acquiring speech and language skills.
Private, out-of-pocket patients do not need a referral. Tricare insurance patients need an authorization letter. Patients seeking reimbursement from insurance need to speak to their insurance company as policies vary.
